Default 95txt died suddenly, help please

95-97 txt series cart.upgraded controller , soloist and switch from Scotty about 1yr ago. Batteries have 37.9 fully charged as we speak.
Ride about a mile to the store, come out, put in reverse .... Goes about a foot them dies. Nothing.......

Any ideas?

Check all High current connections first. Could be as simple as a broken wire.

Does the solenoid click when you try to go?
If yes, the trouble is in the high amperage side of the system
If no, the trouble is in the low or solenoid activation side of the system
Also an indash battery meter can help you know what's going on when the cart won't go. It provides valuable information for us guys - anyways. Would be nice to know if the pack voltage drops when you try to go

the reed switch in the charging port is bad, i jumped it based on info from our local shadetree mech. and he was correct. thanks guys
