07 PDS Cuts to half power after 3 seconds
Have a 07 PDS. Fully charged set of batteries, jumps up and goes for 3 seconds then cuts to walking speed. If you stop, flip Tow/Run switch, it will go like a top for 3 seconds and slows. You can duplicate this every time. It still has plenty of power to climb up the driveway and can ride around the block (at 3mph). Something is cutting out. Any ideas so I'm not chasing my tail or just changing parts to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Put controller in Diagnostic mode and listen for the beep code.
Text at bottom of attached PDS label tells you how to put into diagnostic mode and lists beep codes. My guess is a speed sensor issue. |

Or welded solenoid detection (either true or false detection) which = safe mode operation

Following: My 2007 does the exact same thing!! I need to reconnect the backup buzzer to get any audible codes. Will post results. Hopefully it's an easy repair as I just had my charger break down as well. Ugh!
