Parking Brake Sticking
Sometimes when the cart sits for a few weeks the parking brake seems to stick. The pedal pops up but the brakes seem to be grabbing and cart will barely move. I can pop the parking brake on and off a few times and it has always comes loose eventually. I read to try lubing the tubes where the cables go in. Are these tubes accessible without having to jack the cart up?

Re: Parking Brake Sticking
Could it be that the drums rust while sitting there for a few weeks?
When I lived in Houston, where it is very humid, my automobile would act the same way after sitting for a few days. I would have to rev it up to have the brakes break free! After a short drive, all the rust on the rotors would be knocked off and it was back to normal. |
