Re: EZGO Wont climb hills
36v ? Pretty easy cart to upgrade.
Use XCT400PDS controller and 400 solenoid for 30-40% increase in torque and speeds up to 22-24 mph You can also increase operating voltage to further boost torque and speed. Adding a 7th 6v battery will give 42v operation and a 17% increase in torque in addition to the initial increase mentioned. |

I was looking for help to troubleshoot the problem. I don't know if its the controller, batteries, motor, or cables etc...

Other members will be along to help also. Meanwhile you can attach a voltage meter to the battery pack mains - note the pack voltage at a standstill then floor the cart uphill and note the voltage when the cart is under performing ... report those 2 numbers so we can get some idea about the battery pack strength. Do you have bigger tires? Rear seat? |

Starting voltage at battery post=37.8
Going uphill voltage at battery post=28.5 Going up hill at controller: A1/B+=9 volts B-/B+ =28 Level Ground Speed 14 to 15 A1/B+ =28.2 B-/B+=28.5 |

Re: EZGO Wont climb hills
10 volt drop is more than I like to see in 36v pack. 37 is not a full pack to start the test.
Recharge and let the cart sit and the batteries settle for 12 hours. Then give the test results again. |
