What LED headlights for 01 DS w/Factory lights

I have a 2001 DS with headlights installed from factory/dealer, switch, housing, wires etc.

If I get one of the LED headlight kits can I use the existing wires and switch and just plug in the LED kit without replacing all the existing factory/dealer wires.

Also what kit(s) do you recommend there are several on Amazon, getting ready to install new batteries and figured it would be a good time to add both LED headlight/brake kit and an underglow kit.

From a couple of vendors they say the kits housings are too small to cover the hole from the halogen lights
that are in the body, if that's the case why not transfer the led light housing from the new plastic mount to the
old plastic mount housing the halogens, or is there a kit that will work..

I've never seen an LED light that wouldn't fall right through the factory light opening. I'm gonna follow this post just in case anyone has ever seen such a thing. I'd like to know so I can start selling them. Seems like somebody calls me once a week wanting LED lights on their DS, but they've got factory lights. I've suggested getting some LED bulbs that are compatible with the bulbs they have now and people seem to be pretty happy with that.

I spent what seems like a small fortune trying to buy 881 equivalent LED bulbs. The only ones I ever bought that worked were the style that had 8 or 9 LEDs mounted in a lens on a heat sink. BTW I got them from Revolution. They were the DoubleTake Lights.

I was concerned that the LED aftermarket wasn't going to fit, found some LED bulbs on Amazon for $26 I'll give them a shot.

To me the problem with converting from halogen to LED bulbs is that the focal point inside the lens assy changes. The halogen is more like a spot and the LED is the size of a golf ball. It cannot be focused into a beam where you can see down the road. The LED will just light up the road in front of you. Attached is the type that worked for me with the multi individual focused LEDS
