Hadn’t thought about that at the time but very true.

As for wiring a relay. That’s unnecessary IMO. Depending where the lights are mounted, you still have to run wires all over the cart (and probably through the dash area anyway) for power and ground for each light. A 20 amp Dpst switch will handle all the current of two small LED bars no problem.

I disagree with the above any good electrical system use relays but that’s just my thinking why clutter up the dash area with all the extra wires?Use two wire cable to minimize loose wires to each light easier and cleaner looking

The DPST switch approach is the best option since you are no using the OBC.

I just tried two led lights in series and they shine evenly. They are rated 10 to 30 volts

What voltage are You measuring in each individual set?

As long as the light units are identical the voltage will be the same , half of the input voltage

Not really since we are not talking about a string of LEDs in series with a resistor.

Did You measure the voltage to see what the distribution is between the 2 sets and if they are oscillating?
