Re: one click but nothing.
Elementary, my dear Watson.
It was posted in the Electric EZGO forum, mentions "02 cart" and "switch from tow to run", so we can deduce the person making the post has a 2002 TXT PDS. Quote:

Re: one click but nothing.
Cart is 02 36 volt. I bypassed the idiot wire from the charger plug and wiired to positive side of 1st battery. Cart ran that one and only time. Second try got one click. Now after switching from tow to run, I get one click, then it feels like she wants turn the motor, but doesn't. Then nothing. Switch from run to tow and back to run I get same.click, try then nada.

Re: one click but nothing.
Sounds like the controller went bye-bye.
After the cart does it one click and them nothing thing, measure the voltage on the pins with wire highlighted in red attached to them. If all the voltages are present, the controller is probably bad. |

Re: one click but nothing.
Thanks, but I think now it's time for a pro to take over. I don't usually give up this easily, but these carts are above my skill set.

Sometimes it takes a smarter man to call in an expert than it does to trudge ahead into unknown territory.
