Rear Bumper Cover
Anyone install rear bumper cover to hide damaged rear under body on precedent? There appears to be a couple of different types available online. Any advise on best type, where purchased and installation advise would be appreciated.

Re: Rear Bumper Cover
I got the rubber one that sticks on with tape, needless to say it came loose and was lost on a trail ride. I think it would have been fine if I would have used a better 3M tape. It was ordered from one of our site sponsors. Anyway I just ordered a hard plastic one that bolts on, I like the looks of it better then the other one and it's not going to come off this time. I found this one on E-bay. Hope that helps you...... Ken

Re: Rear Bumper Cover
Thanks Eaglesdad1. Is this the site you ordered yours? Did it come with mounting hardware?

Re: Rear Bumper Cover
Finally installed the bumper cover. The self tapping screws that come with the cover are not long enough and have phillips heads. The phillips heads strip easily when screwing through the underbody plastic - even with drilling a pilot hole. I used #8 1.5" Slotted Hex head sheet metal screws and they worked perfectly. Use a ratchet to install until the head of the screw buries into the recess, then use a flat blade screw driver to seat the screw to the bottom of the recess.
