The controller either isn't powered up or more likely you don't have the correct drivers install on your laptop.

I've used this laptop lots on these controllers but sometimes it's just finicky. It's an old laptop with windows Vista on it and Vista doesn't play well with others.

Does the solenoid engage with key switch if the FNR is in neutral?
If not, measure the voltage on pin #6 of the Alltrax controller, if with the 2-pin MCOR connector unplugged, You get +48v on pin #6 when the FNR is in forward or reverse, the IQ harness adapter board transistor may be bad. |
