Precedent Speed Control
My 2009 Club Car Precedent has all of the symptoms of a bad speed switch. Is there a way to actually test the speed switch if it is operating? Is there a way to tell if the magnet for the speed switch is the stock type or one of the high performance types?

Re: Precedent Speed Control
If the speed sensor is bad your cart will only do about 8 mph, and you can push it freely while in TOW with key on and in forward. If you have a high speed magnet the cart will run more than 15 mph close to 20 with a good speed sensor.
