Default Re: Alltrax 500A XCT Installed!

I installed the 400A XCT (with fan upgrade) and L O V E it.

If you think it's fun now, wait until you installed D&D torque motor from ScottyB!

Highly highly recommend both the controller and motor.

I though it's was amazing even without the motor - now with the motor... It's the bomb! All the gassers at the campground are jealous and can't keep up on or off road. (And it's fun to leave a little rubber on the pavement!!)

With my 16 yr old the back seat - I pulled the front wheels off the ground! (Not on purpose and not very high at all) the group I was with with shat their pants. They insisted I made a mistake buying electric. We do a far amount of muddling at the trails at our campground. They can not keep up!!

P.S.- I'm glad you like my custom program. My throttle map is the result of hours of trial and error.
It is a map of two different types of driving. My wife insisted the cart needed to be smooth at slow speeds around the horse shows ans I wanted to race around and climb hills. She drives the 1st half of the pedal and I use it all.
IQ controls are in stock starting at $529 with HD Solenoid
Alltrax XCT controller pkg for IQ
Go to bottom of the page to select 400a Tomcat or 500a Bearcat Package.
Sir,

I am interested in the Altrax 400A XCT. I have a stock 2014 Club Car Pres. lifted. I am looking for more torque for mud riding. Is Adding the 400 XCT a good choice? What else would I have to change in order to run this controller. Thank you

For best results go with Controller, solenoid, mount, & cable set, this is a complete upgrade package.
Use the 400 for the stock motor.
Choose the 500 for aftermarket motors or have it turned down (by me) for the stock motor now and crank it up when you get an aftermarket motor later.
Thank you for asking

What kind of speed can I expect to get from the 400A XCT on my CCP with 6" lift and 23" tires with stock motor?

I have the same cart with the 500 DCX kit I got from Scotty around three years ago but I have the D&D high torque motor. How much more performance with the XCT over the DCX ?
Always looking for more torque not speed.

I would say around 25 mph. I have the XCT400 with 22" tires, and I get around that.

The torque should be a little better, as they say the XCT has longer sustained outputs than the DCX. Not to mention the XCT is light years away from the DCX in terms of technology...

Jake is right, the XCT is capable of higher peak and sustained outputs compared to the DCX controls. If using the XCT400 add the fan kit to extend peak output times.

Scotty, I have a feeling you and your products are going to cause a problem with me and my wife. I am saving my money for this one. If everything works out right I will be getting with you in a couple of months.
