Larger tires

Hello, I have a 2007 club car ds stock, that I drive on gravel roads at my camp I am thinking of putting larger tires and rims on my cart, I saw some on the internet that claim these will fit my cart with adding a lift kit, has anyone done this and how did it work out.

I see in my original post I didn't mention wanted to do with out a lift kit

If you get low profile tires you can run 12's

I am running 12's with 215/50-12's on my club car ds and it looks great and handles like a champ.

No lift kit here.

This is a 4" all sport double A arm lift with 22-11-10 tires. The wheels are 10 inch. Lots of sidewall on tires makes the ride smooth with HD rear leaf springs.

I too have a DS. I just went through the tire size thing. About the largest you can put on, no matter what the rim size is an 18.5 inch diameter tire without a lift kit. The tire diameter is all that matters. An example is 215-35-12 is an 18 inch diameter.

To calculate the tire diameter you can plug in the tire size into a calculator like this:

Mine is 215-50's on 12's and no rub at all.

With HD rear springs a 20" tire will work on a DS the front will rub a little in steep turns.
