Default What is an HDK ?

Project cart
2 year old batts, Trojan 8v
It's 48v
Full road ready
Hi/Low speed switch, run/tow sw above steering column
Hydraulic brakes & Front disc brakes
Speedometer, , RPM, hour meter
Regan type braking & a floor mounted hand emergency brake
Curtis controller, 275 amp I think, pic of it didn't come out

Has a " clunk" in the rear end, sounds like in the pumpkin

Front end, can see disc brakes

Thanks

4 wheel hydraulic brakes was a surprise .

cart barn wants to fix & put a for sale sign on it
More a street machine than a golf cart

Finding parts might be a challenge

Near the same when jacked up
Sounds like spline or gear slop & more noticeable on the L side
Moves so much, hard to believe it's splines

I think the regan braking , on pavement is tough on cart rear axles.
Wheel brakes ; the drum takes the stopping stress, not the axles.
Regan axle get stressed in boh directions every start/stop
& once they get a little wear, the splines start rocking, .......

Will post pics when I get into it.
I think a MiC car (China) low quality steel
