Same model as mine
It's a 5k - 0 ohm

Check tire pressure ?

I'm told 1st step for speed on these "12 mph golf carts" ...BIGGER rear tires, ... Replace the #6 cables with #4 throughout the cart. May get to 15 mph.
This model meant for golfing, not speed.

Then ...new motor , might get 19 mph.....

Then high amp controller (& MCOR) ......high amp solenoid....high amp F/R switch
...etc to increase speed

You need to adjust the Multi-Step-Potentiometer (V-GLide) throttle link in order to reach the last pad.

That 1060Ω at pedal down will only get you about 80% throttle, you need .

You should also adjust it so You get 5500Ω at pedal up to make sure there is a smooth take off.

You have a 0-5k controller

That make sense TahoeDawg?
Yeah it makes sense. I see where you were going with that. The only 48 Volt Club Cars that ever used a 0-5k signal were the 1993 and 1994 36V solid state cars and the 1995 48V car for the first 16 weeks. Everything else has been 5k-0

If this thing goes over 5mph Id be suprised. Its a little over walking speed.

Thanks,
good to know, just the opposite of what I thought..
I'm slowly learning this stuff
thought 5-0 was the rare one.

Wow
Not sure what would cause it to be that slow .
Good batt cables , clean F&R & connections all the way thru?

I got mine from 1k to 0 ohms , pedal to the floor, by
Adjusting the rod that hooks to the knuckle on the Vglide
Unhook & loosen the locking nut
2 counter clockwise turns lengthened it just enough to get
full range & "0" ohms at full throttle.
But I had 12 mph or so before the adjustment
( Got to it from underneath, without having to pull the batts)

Read this thread. I had the same issue about a month or so ago, and it turned out to be the controller was not producing enough voltage to the v glide, therefore it couldn't get 100% back. According to your ohm readings it sounds like your problem may be in the v glide.
