Idea for power/battery monitor
I want to see if there is interest in a high end monitor.
Suitable for most any lead acid ev or cart. This is based on the brand new 24s bms from Chargery. Google Chargery bms-24 Also look at their matching charger while there. I was thinking there may be a market for similar, remote lcd display. Here is my second test of bms-24 conversion to lead acid monitor. Connected to 2 over charged 12v batteries. 3 wire connection. Common and 1 wire to each 12v. also works on 9 X 8v. This is a hardware fix. Does not display individual 12v battery voltages. Sum of first 4 = 12v #1 battery. Obviously this is not ready for prime time. However: Total voltage Battery level Amps charge Amps discharge kwh in Kwh out All displayed properly. I have an "in" with engineer who could possibly do this in sw. Displaying each battery voltage. Later it could be flashed back to bms for lithium upgrades. I'm not selling anything. Looking for an eager tester. |
