Default Upgrades but not a hotrod?

For a YDRE, what are good upgrade packages to make the cart a little bit more utility and not so much of a hot rod battery burner?

Why not explain what you want the cart to do? Haul things, golf, travel around an area?

Do you want lights?

80% of the time campground buggy, 20% of the time to pull a wheelbarrow sized trailer for yard rubbish and firewood on miled hills. It is also street legal for around town small business. It already has all the street legal lights equipped.
Another note; as I just bought this cart, I noticed that when the lights are used, it will act like a low charge battery very shortly on a full charge then soon to die out.

Install the Alltrax XCT48400 Controller and a 200a HD solenoid. You will see about 30% more power and additional speed for the street use too.

Also need to figure out what the lights problem is. I bet you don't have a DC converter, and power is stolen from one battery in the set. That's harmful to the battery powering the lights. Care to post a picture of your batteries?

I can get a picture when I get back to the campground. However I believe it does have a converter. Also note that it has only 4 12V batteries.
