Default Club Car Transaxle Noise

Experiencing irritating transaxle noise in 2004 Club Car. Gear oil has been replaced, electric motor rebuilt. Noise on both throttle application and deceleration? Sounds like a failed bearing noise. Unsure what I am facing to repair.

You need the centering kit. Check with David site sponsor Revloution carts.

Could be the outer axle bearings and not inside the transaxle.
These can be replaced by removing the axles and having a machine shop press them off and on.
The axles are held in by a large C-Clip behind the brake mounting plate.

There are two types of transaxles, K and G.

I can't say about the internals of the transaxle but it doesn't seem to bad to go in there if you like to do that kind of work.

More cart diagrams.

You should try the motor centering kit as others stated as it is cheaper than doing the bearings.
If it does not help then go for the bearings.
