Good thinking on the smaller atv batteries, that didn't cross my mind.

As long as it's able to get used a couple of time per charge, I should be good. the size and weight savings are a big plus that has my attention. Thanks for posting this.

They thing about atv batteries is they are expensive and don't last long I know this having 3 atvs so if space isnt an issue I'd stay away from them

Thanks for the heads up.

Just thinking with the lithium battery and the size/weight savings, I could maybe find a place to mount my aux battery in the front cowl somewhere or maybe even in the dash...some of those autocraft lithiums only measured 5"x7"...just thinking out loud.

If you want one of those lithium batteries let me know. I have one that i bought for a project and changed directions. its the biggest battery tender brand like that one.

so how are they hooked up in a truck with an extra battery when running 2 batterys. a perco switch that would allow u to switch back and forth and charge both at the same time?? like u do in boats

Battery isolator is usually how it’s done. Unless it’s just a factory two battery setup for starting only like a diesel pickup. The those are just hooked up in parallel
