Unhappy 2014 TXT electric motor issues

Hello, I was driving my electric cart around for the first time this year and noticed a problem with the electric motor. When going down hill, the automatic motor brake engages to slow the cart per usual, however, the cart had a hard time reengaging once i was on level ground. What do you think is going on with the engine and what can be done to fix this? is there a way to remove the automatic engine brake on the cart? this was a used cart purchased from my local golf course.

thank you

david

Motor bake? Not on a TXT. Do you mean regen braking? Could this cart be an RXV and not a TXT? Picture of the cart would be nice.

Going to change the solenoid on the system and see if that helps. from what i read, it can be the cause of many issues with electric motors.

I wouldn’t start just rreolacing parts yet. There’s a bunch of guys here that are willing and able to get you straightened out, but they need to know which cart you have. The rxv and txt are way different carts. Can you look it up by the serial number?
