Talking 2009 BBB controller issue ?

I’ve recently purchased a 2009 Bad Boy Buggy. This thing is decked out to the max. New batteries, brakes , lights , etc. So the issue is that after running for an hour or two is literally stops in its tracks .

If I turn it off for 15-20 minutes I can keep going . Usually once I start going up a hill after running for an hour or so I see the issue arising again. I’m thinking it’s a bad controller . Has anyone had an issue like this ?

My 08 is in the shop getting sorted out right now with similar problem. These carts have many electrical parts that can be suspect , although I don't know of any other single component that you could pin the problem on. Do some searches on this in archives and you will see.

Most likely, the control is going into a thermal shutdown due to excessive heat. This may explain why you can let it sit for about 15 min and it will run again. This can be caused by several factors but most common would be too much of a load being put on the cart or a failing motor. Do you know what controls are installed in it?
