Default 1996 G16 start issues

I have a '96 gas G16. Was working great last fall. This Spring took out of storage, charged battery. Cart would not start. Checked all the switches(ignition, accelerator speed switch, all are good.
When I jump the solenoid it starts. I even swapped out solenoid because I thought it may be bad. Main fuse is good. Wont start in forward, neutral or reverse. Just a dead pedal. All connectors on wiring harness look good. Appreciate any ideas as to where to perhaps check? Thanks in advanced

Be sure small black wire (that goes to ground at solenoid) is good.

If it starts by jumping solenoid starter brushes aren't issue...however I agree there is a small black bullet connector coming off of the main negative cable coming off of the battery if you follow it back...make sure that is plugged in and making good connection...you can also try just running a jumper wire from main negative to small black wire post on solenoid and try again..

Me and our neighbor both had that same problem this spring. His a Club Car and Mine a Yamaha G16. Cylinder was filled with gas. Float in Carb was stuck open. Removed carb and cleaned out. Changed out oil ,the crankcase partially filled with gas. New Carb is on the way. Randy

Disassemble and clean the OEM carb. Replace the float/needle valve. $13 Wuhan carbs are crap...
