86 ezgo marathon muffler
my marathon has the robin motor with horizonal muffler behind the motor.i thought only the 83 year had those

83 has a horizontal muffler under the shelf behind the seat. 86 has a vertical Muffler on the left side in front of the driven clutch.

It's the exact same engine. The only difference would be the muffler and connector pipe.

yes i know motor are the same but my muffler is horizontal in back of motor and my serial number says its a 86 model

What does the model number say? That is what determines the year.

Ok, you have an 86 cart and somebody installed an 83 muffler. It's not factory installed.
Is there an issue with the cart, or can I move along now? |
