Default G29 gas drive 1 battery won’t stay charged

My gas cart battery reads 12.68 before a round of golf and 11.67 at the end of the round. I now charge it with a regular car battery charger after a round. I don’t see any loose wires. The battery was new this season. Replaced the terminals. That didn’t fix the problem. Any idears?

Charging system non operational is my guess, check voltage at battery when cart is in neutral and running.
Should be around 14 to 14.8 volts

Check the charging system
Put the car in neutral or jack up the rear wheels.
Connect a voltmeter to the battery and note the voltage.
Start the car and increase the RPM. The voltage at the battery should increase.
I am guessing that it doesn't.

There are two common reasons for charging issues.
There is a two wire lead with a white plug coming out of the top of the starter.
Verify that the plug is secure and that the wires are not broken.

Remove the rear hatch and check the wires at the voltage regulator. The regulator is a small rectangular aluminum piece with a cooling fins and a blue connector with three wires. Tug on all three wires. One if them is likely broken.

If you still haven't found the problem, you may need a new starter.
