Default KF82 clutches

My club car is an '86. serial #AG86311*****. My drive clutch looks like this http://img235.imageshack.us/img235/8...ve_clutch2.jpg

Although, going by the serial on the cart it should be the other

Do these interchange? I would imagine the crank end is the same for all these engines but do not know. I see that there were 2 belt widths. From this site.

This page I found from a Canadian site.
http://www.lotus-equip.com/new_page_4.htm

scroll down to Club Car
215241A and 215319A
plus 207915A for Freeway vehicle?

the 215319A says 1984 -1987. Club Car Golf Cars, 1988 - up

anyone have any idea?

Is there a difference in these with a round face and the flat face style?

Here's something that is even more confusing.
http://www.cartpartsplus.com/club-ca...clutch-96.html
Does this one go both clockwise and counter colockwise?
And have the same crank dimensions?

The flat faced clutch is listed for 1997 & up carts , they spun CW unlike your engine...
It seems that CPP is saying that it fits your crank and with a pully change can be used on your engine. I have opened them up and found nothing directional about them? Maybe I missed something & somebody with more info can tell us more about that CW / CCW thing. The round faced clutche is a Salsbury or a Comet clutch .

I just emailed Cartpartsplus with my questions. It sure would make things easier if I could just get one off a newer cart. Also asked them about the attached pulley. Don't know if mine will bolt directly to this, If I can get away with the larger one or need to make something to convert mine to fit.

Will let you guys know if and when they mail me back.

Why not just get the one for your cart? Post your serial # and we can help you find the original replacement.

I thought that just the AG86 was what I would need. But after looking at these different sites I am confused. If you read above. I keep getting different clutches for that year.

The OEM I got originally was #1012287

Those 2 imageshack links I saved and posted are what is screwing me up. I think. The '86 diagram shows the rounded cover. Mine is flat like what seems to be '88-91.

The cheapest I have found so far for 1012287 is $257
I'd almost rather rebuild mine if I could replace the cover and fixed face.
The rest seems fine. I have worked on my old polaris clutches which are very similar. Everything else is tight. I know some of you would say to just get a new one. And if cartspartsplus is correct I could find a decent used one from a newer model. Sorry, money is tight at the moment and I just want to get it going.
