No Response from Gas Pedal
2004 Electric Club Car: About 1 in 5 times I push the gas pedal there is no response, if I let up and push again the cart will respond and move. Does anyone have any knowledge of this problem?
Thanks |

Re: No Response from Gas Pedal
Chester I am having same problem. I have a Club Car Precedent same year.
I have replaced solenoid MCOR bypass OBC and still have the problem. Some time I get no reverse buzzer but pressing pedal a few times and it buzzes and the cart will go. Not sure if there is a contact some place or loose wire. Any help would be great. Jim |

Re: No Response from Gas Pedal
Is your cart all stock? I had the same problem when I replaced my controler with an Alltrax. It turned out to be the HPD alarm. Which is the high pedal disable. The MCOR frequency was out of range sometimes. Had that disabled and has never done it again. Welcome to BGW and a little more info about your cart will be helpful.

Re: No Response from Gas Pedal
My cart is a 2004 Precedent all stock. Since this trouble began of intermittent no pedal response and some times no reverse buzzer a golf cart shop said my computer OBC was bad and my solenoid was sticking. They disabled the OBC sold me a Lestor smart charger and replaced the solenoid. One week later same problem. Now they say it was the MCOR so they replaced it the very next day same problem. Took it back they said they found corroded wire on F&R switch replaced it no charge. We are talking to the tune of $1000 they have charged me. I have noticed now after checking that no resistor or diode on my solenoid will that matter? So far the problem all ways clears up after pressing pedal 3 or 4 times. Can the OBC shut down the system down intermittently like that? Any clues or help greatly appreciated.
