dude that spring is huge! i think you have the wrong one! mine is silver in color, but i heard the power spring up date from toms is green. but from what i rember about spring, the color is a indaction of its strengh. meaning blue is 5lbs, green is 6 lbs, purple is 7 lbs, and in this case yellow is woooo mama! these measurements are only for use as a refence for a refrence point!

its also a indication of the rotation of motor either C.W. or C.C.W the original springs were green and red you could tell the rotation of motor by color of clutch springs.......................................

To the picture, the belt is down in the clutch.
causes
broken secondary spring
slipped out of hole secondary spring
broken (missing) spacer parts secondary clutch

drive clutch bound up from rust, broken parts or debris.

short belt

Green = Clockwise standard spring
Purple = Clockwise spring, more torque
White = Counter Clockwise
Not sure about the yellow. Don't believe I've ever seen that one. We primarily work on electric cars. Hopefully someone will be along to help you some more.

the yellow spring has no tabs on it,, i bought a power spring from ccp 3 or 4 years ago,, im guessing that the yellow is the power spring from tom..

is the helix on the correct side of the ramps for ccw,,, this cart has no power,, with the yellow spring, goes 23mph, but couldnt climb the tailgate of my trailer... the green spring.. maybe 15mph couldnt go up the tailgate.. the white spring.. gained some speed back 18 to 20mph.. and climbed up the tailgate,, but every hill i came up to today i had to be pushed up it,, wouldnt pull for nothing,,

im gonna put a new belt on it,, but i dont think that will fix all of the power problem...

HELP please,,,,,,,,,
