With a voltmeter check voltage between the 2 small terminals on the @#**^& solenoid with the key off it should be zero... with the key on it should be pack voltage 36-38v
No voltmeter? Remove one of the small wires. If they are energized the coil will drop out(click) off. Could be a key problem? |

Thanks scottyb. No voltage with key on or off. Meter works fine, battery pack at 36.2 volts. dono.

Big lug to big lug on solenoid, 0 volts. little lug to little lug 0 volts. big lug to little lug either way 0.3 volts. If I remember right the other night I plugged in and turned on the battery charger before I realized the key was still on and the cart in forward. Could this have fried the solenoid?

As a matter of fact you should check the micro switch in the v-glide to see if it is burnt.

I have never seen a problem with it, people do it all the time. Its not going to work unless you put the peddle down.Now I am no expert I will say that,But I am still trying to figure out the dumb stuff.LOL.

Be careful with that... on a resistor cart it can start a fire.
