Update: My local service company said! Bad batteries!!
Give me $600.00 and all if fixed - Can I check the leads going to the motor? and if so, How.

Thx
Michael

For $600 You will only get the cheapest batteries, are you sure they will suit your needs? The motor is rarely bad in a golf cart... If they say you need batteries. Likely you do.

Your correct I have a 36V cart
I double checked and for $600.00 plus tax I get 6 - Trojon T-105 75amp
My question no one can answer is, how do I know for sure it's my batteries?
My local shop said on that cart ( No Controller ) they are so basic, it can only be the batteries.
Because the coils are getting hot at 1/2 or full pedal shop said it's not anything but batteries...
What do you guys think?
Michael

The only way to know for sure is to have each battery properly load tested.
It is most likely that your batteries are reading the correct volts per battery and across the pack but the storage of amps has been severly deduced due to the condition of the plates.

Would the fact that these 6 batteries are reconditioned?
We have a local guy who recondition's batteries and I brought them to him, 6 months ago. Later to find out all he does is drain them and fill them with Epson salt and distilled water. Then charge them over night.

Thanks for all the help!

If you want to be sure they are bad, take them to someone other than the reconditioning guy (stay away from him) to have them load tested. Then go buy some new batteries and follow the recomended procedure for charging them.

600 for 6 trojens ???????????????buy them..................you have a resistor cart which is a basic cart theres not much to go wrong if your soleniods are clicking as you push pedal down and resistors are getting hot chances are real good its just a battery or battery/cable issue so as stated have them tested and load tested 1st..........they should put your post about the re-cond batts up in the stickies so other members who are thinking about going that route can read what a waste it is...........................
