I took a picture of the solenoid and I numbered the wires to make sure I put them in the same location. A few minutes ago I looked at the wiring diagram and it showed the blue wire at 12 o'clock on the solenoid and the the blue/white at 6 o'clock. Mine where reversed. I switched them and the regen braking is working. Both when I let off of the pedal and when I go down a steep hill. But it still beeps and the motor brakes when slowing down to a low speed. Its the same beeping you get if it rolls, like if you left the brake off on a hill and the cart starts to roll.
I consider myself a backyard mechanic. I fix a lot of things, but every so often I break a thing or two. |
