2001 club car elec
was using cart stopped for awhile and when i pressed pedal to start it would not go foward or backwards. backup alarm would sound but cart would not go. replaced all batteries last year. checked and cleaned all battery cables. i can hear a sound like a thump when i press pedal. thanks

what voltage? have you tested voltage in batteries? load tested them........start there it could be nothing more than a battery and it wouldn,t be the 1st time someone has a problem with newer batteries...........................
