Thanks northwestfarm and Scotty,
Actually, I think I would like to try to do this myself. I really want to learn to take care of this cart myself, as much as I can.
Since my cart isn't here now, I can't check out the dash, and I can't for the life of me remember how the dash is set up!
So I think I will repost this question once I get my cart back, which should be around Friday. One of you guys should write the book "Golfcart maintenance for Dummies". I'd buy in a heartbeat. :)
I appreciate your patience with my ignorance!

not me Im one of the dummies. just don't let it intimidate you, the hardest part is getting you to trust yourself, once you get past that its easy.don't look at the whole job and get overwhelmed break it up first you gotta get to A then worry about B and C. Scotty is a very helpful member he has helped many people and continues to do so free of charge, he is just that nice of a guy, I always feel bad cause he helps me but I can never seem to afford the quality parts he sells to return the favor

Silverstreak by no means am I an expert. Installing this gauge is really easy once you have it in hand and start to look at it. You can cut the dash with a box cutting knife! But the laser cut key switch plates from Scotty are an even better fit.

Thanks everyone. You're definitely building my confidence!

There are many guys here who help

Whether it's everyday or every so often, it all adds up to the total sum = the best golf cart modification site on the web. Thank the BGW founding fathers who had the foresight and the initiative to put such a board together. Thank Roady and Spriddle and The New Guy for all their years of constant work and monitoring that steered this site down the road to what it is today

that sounds like a good way to end up in the emergency room! a small hand saw & a file would be my suggestion.

How does the analog meter come out? Do you just pull it out from the front?

It will have a bracket and 2 small nuts on the back, access is probably though the key switch hole.... remove the bracket in the rear and the gauge will come out the front.

Sonic do you have to make a contradicting statement to what anybody says? I am just telling the way I did it. But good luck bro.
