2000 ezgo txt dcs
I just upgraded from 6g to 4g wires. Now I'm going to put in a new controller and solenoid. Is there anything I need to do before I install beside disconnect the batteries. Thanks

It's probably a good time to top off your batteries, clean all the terminals really well and make sure all your nuts have lock washers. If you have a diagram for the wires you should be fine. Do one wire at a time and make sure you hold the backing nut on the motor while you tighten the top nut so that you don't spin the internals. After, I coat mine with some red spray protectant to keep the corrosion down.
