Battery run time formula?
I thought I had seen this someplace on here but cant find it with the search.
I know that going to a 48v conversion 8-6v will have longer run time than 6-8v due to more capcity. Just trying to figure out the math behind it. Thanks! |

This is not scientific but the old adage "Lead = Run Time" exists here.
6x8v Trojan T-875 batteries weigh 378 lbs 8x6v Trojan T-105 batteries weigh 496 lbs 378 x 1.30 = 491 The guess would be about 30% more run time with the 8x6v pack. |
