Default How to change speed code in a CC precedent

Hey all,
I understand that club cars have four speed settings. I also know that to get a code four you need to take it to a dealer and pay just over $100. Questions are:

1) how do I determine what code mine is set at.

2) Once I determine which speed code my car has how do I change it from say a code 1 or 2 to a speed code 3?

3) Do I need to take it to a dealer to do that and does it cost money just like a speed code four programming would? I hope it is something I can do myself.

4) Finally, what are the advertised speeds for each speed code setting? Thanks

Speeds 1 thru 3 can be set by CC dealer for no fee (should not be a fee, anyways) . . speed code 4 (19 mph) is the "for fee" speed code.

Can anyone answer question 4 above about the speeds of each setting. I may need to turn my cart down some as my kids make me nervous driving our new cart.

Found this post in the search feature. I assume it is accurate.

Approximate values:

Speed Code 1 = 8 Mph
Speed Code 2 = 11 Mph
Speed Code 3 = 14.7 Mph
Speed Code 4 = 19.7 Mph

All the above are with stock tires and Speed Code 1-3 are free. Speed Code 4 has to be purchased through a CC dealer and ordered for your specific Controller, (based on it’s serial number.)
