Default ruff-n-tuff takes off on its own

i have a ruff-n-tuff, 2010 that when you turn the key on it does nothing, turn the key off and back on and it takes off on its own, the programmer says there is a throttle fault, but when watching the throttle % it showes 0-100-0 when it is pressed and let go. any ideas?

Interesting trouble. Some of the older ruff n tuff are similar to the ezgo. I would look at the microswitch in the floorboard and check the solenoid to see if shorted.

i found it to be a loose pin in the connector from the i.t.s switch to controller. ruff n tuff peddle is always powered, if it came loose and the solenoid shut the controller saw it as full throttle.... but thank you for the input

i see you have a little experience with ruff n tuff. I have an 09 CEV2 i just bought on the cheap. It is running only half speed. It does not have the half speed switch in the glove compartment. Any ideas?
