Default 08 Ezgo PDS, new batteries, slow

I placed 6 new Duracells last week. Has run great. Volt meter has had pack at about 37 volts. I added a light kit that is wired to two batteries. Gave cart a good wash down yesterday. Had corrosion on old cables so I sprayed them and washed it off. Today kids are riding and cart gets sluggish and will not go up hill. Checked with volt meter and still running near 36 volts. Any suggestions on what to check next?

At 36 volts those Batts need charging , way too low SOC
Go to Scotty's website (sponsor here ) Carts Unlimited
And read everything with the word battery in it
That will solve your problem
Good luck
Cheers !

Charge the batteries after each use. Never, ever, allow them to go below 50% SoC (State of Charge)

Here is a chart correlating voltage and SoC. (Note: The voltages given are thaken 12 hours after charger shuts off)

What is the AH (Amp-Hours at 20 Hr discharge rate) rating of the new Duracells?

Be sure to break them in properly to obtain max storage capacity.

I am running a charger on the batteries, once they have sufficient charge I will try to get the EZGO Charger to kick on. Right now it wont. I pulled it apart and checked everything and it appears to check out. Ordered new cables as there was some signs of heat on two of the batteries. Thanks for the input.

If the pack voltage gets to low the charger will not kick on you will have to charge the batts individually with a six volt charger until you bring it up enough for the charger to kick on
Good luck
