It is a step down reducer from 16-12v.

Scotty,
Do these voltage reducers give intermittent fails like I'm dealing with here?

That box you are talking about, the one in the picture, IS NOT A REDUCER. That is a fuse box. Open the cover, and you will find 3 fuses in there.
The fat red wire is the feed to the fuse block, and the small wires are the load wires, on the other side of the fuses.

A 3/8" socket will fit the two nuts that hold the cover down.

Thank you, Shoe. when the cart comes back around my way I'll pop that cover and see if I've got a bad connection in there. On a side note, there should be a voltage reducer somewhere on this cart, correct? Or are all the accessories running on 16 volts?

If you have a factory reducer, this is where it is located :

Standing On the driver side of cart,, look behind the battery that is on your far right ( closest to the motor). Look down at the frame rail, and you will see a box that is tucked inside the web of the frame rail.

It is about 10" long and about 3" wide. It should have a wire coming out of the end of it ( towards front of cart), and that wire should be going to a metal "junction" point."

That junction point is for the negative wires that go to your accessories.

That's it. It actually reduces the negative.
