EDIT: Wrong size. Had to fix.
So Lowe's, Home Depot, and one parts store only has 1/4"-20 X 2 and 2 1/2. Nobody has the bolt in a 2 1/4. ???? Thinking about just using a few washers to shorten a 2 1/2 up??

Remove motor

Install smooth washer

Install spring

Install splined washer

Install tapered bushing with small end toward motor shaft

Re install motor

Do NOT use the motor bumper. Some people may tell you they love them, but they've been nothing but a nightmare to me.

Thanks Tahoe. The center ring kit worked! However the MCOR upgrade kit did not. I still Press my pedal 4/5 of the way before take off. And then I only have very little pedal left to go from 0 to full speed. Any other suggestions?

. . how far does the GO pedal have to travel before you hear the click from the MCOR? . . . you may have too much wear on the mating surfaces between the GO pedal and the MCOR input shaft . . .

I did not get that part about the 4/5 pedal travel before movement from the original explanation....

Anyway, that would be consistent with the MCOR wired incorrectly to the Controller. You probably have the "Wiper" pin wired to negative.

Trace the wires from the MCOR to the controller:
Black (High side of MCOR) -> Should go to Controller #2 pin or whatever the +5v output is.

Yellow (MCOR wiper) - > Should go to Controller #3 pin or whatever the Throttle input is.

Purple (Low side of MCOR) -> Should go to B- or Negative.

The colors are the right ones, as long as they go to the correct locations it should work.

The only other suggestion would be:
Lift the rear wheels of the ground
Place FNR lever to Forward
Set your meter to 20VDC scale
Black probe on B-
Positive probe on #3 connector Yellow wire.

Push the pedal slowly and see how the voltage changes. Also note at what pedal position it starts to change.
