1993 club car ds park brake not staying locked
Have a 1993 ds and the park brake will not stay engaged. See some kits online that says 1999 and up.will these work for a 1993 or whats different? Thanks

Before you go ordering any parts take a real close look at how it works. Most often it's worn parts on the accelerator pivot assembly that causes the parking brake issue. There are bushings/bearings that the accelerator pivot rod runs through that often get worn to the point that the parking brake pawl can't line up correctly. If you grab the accelerator pedal and pull up & back on it can you get the brake to lock?

There is also an adjustment on the park brake pawl.

The adjustment is easy, just takes some time to get it right.
Do yourself a favor and put the cart on ramps or jack stands! |

Ok i repaced the brackets with bearings thru which then accel rod goes thru. Now the hill brake dont engage at all. Everything seems to be order. Is there something im missing?
