I've run across a 2015 Precedent Villager 4 that is practically new. Gentleman bought it middle of 2015, parked it in his garage and never used it. It looks showroom new. He's asking $4500.00. Do I need to be concerned about the batteries since it hasn't been used much?

Batteries are probably shot or at very best they are barely usable. However, since you are going to want to upgrade to a lithium battery pack anyway, this is is not a problem!

For $4500 I would be all over it. This is got to be worth a good bit more. And if he kept the charger on it as it should, you never know, maybe better then we think.

But the "Negotiator" in me says, "I am a little concerned on your batteries, and it will be expensive to replace, would you work with me and take $4100 cash for it today?" If he says yes, GET TO THE BANK (or your stash fund!)

My dad wants me to convert is over to 4-12's when his 8's go out but I'm like "Dad, why reinvent the wheel?" He said "Ok, just give me your cart then!"

I will say that my daughter tends to run and run and run. I switched from 4/12's to 6/8's in my 04 Precedent and I love the run time of the 6/8's.

All depends on how the cart is used.

Turns out it has been plugged to the E.R.I.C. charger since he's had it and he's only put about 2 miles on it in two years. We agreed on $4000.00. Does the fact that it's been on the charger the whole time help or hurt the batteries?
