Re: Everything is new... where's the torque
Thanks to you all. I found the problems I was having were the result of wear on the accelerator linkage arm. I used some 1/4" ID braided tubing around the forward most fork of the MCOR arm. Immediately I got my torque and acceleration back. Total cost: $0.39
For the record, Dave Hicks (TahoeDawg) from Revolution was really helpful. I ended up ordering all the new replacement parts for my accelerator - all parts new cost about $40. |

I like my Curtis 350 amp. It is a direct swap no changes need. Big difference in performance.

Re: Everything is new... where's the torque
Both the Curtis and the Alltrax are good options.

Re: Everything is new... where's the torque
I'm just wrapping up an Alltrax 400 controller install with HD solenoid. If I was not converting to lithium, adding lights, stereo, gauges, charging port, voltage reducer, etc., it would have been done in one evening. No need to remove the body but you do need to remove some lead! The controller plugs right in with only a couple of wire terminations that need to be converted from spade to ring. They even supply the ring terminals. Easy peazy lemon squeezy!
