48v club car ds charging problem
had older batteries in cart and wasn't charging. I decided to replace batteries and still having same problem. thought it may be the charger so I borrowed a friends and is still doing the same thing. I plug charger in and it starts charging shuts off after a few seconds and then starts charging again for about ten minutes and then will shut off and never turn back on. I can unplug and repeat and will do the same every time. Batteries never get a full charge. Could it be the on board computer? What does bypassing it do? If bypassed would I need a new charger? Where do I go from here?

Re: 48v club car ds charging problem
Read this, bypass the OBC, if it works, the OBC is bad.
A new OBC is pricey, so a new smart charger (DPI) may be your best bet. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...excel-obc.html |
