Re: Stubborn Motor Removal
It's possible the motor would last for months or years, or maybe the smoke goes out of it within a mile of driving it....
I would bet that it would last a little while anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Stubborn Motor Removal
I can tell you that MY experience with running the stock motor with the upgraded electronics...Ran it for almost two years before I took the stock 36v motor off and replaced with a plum quick rattlesnake II. The only reason I even did that is the fact I just wanted to run faster. That 36v motor loved being on 48 and I would install it again should something happen with the PQ.

Stubborn Motor Removal
Almost all the new items are in and I thought I wrote everything down, but now I see this wire coming out of the harness and have no idea what it is.
I guess I also have to put ring connectors on the light blue wire and the and the blue/white stripped wires that go on the solenoid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

The blue/white wire is the Solenoid negative activation. What other wire is left? |

For some reason I can't send the picture. Says a token is missing. I have a thin red wire with a ring connector. I see the picture attached anyway. |

Re: Stubborn Motor Removal
Is that the wire that goes to the pack +?
Regarding how long your stock motor will last, I'd say it depends on how hard you push it. I'm rolling the dice with mine, right now! |

Re: Stubborn Motor Removal
Quick update.
I put in the 400 amp controller, 200 amp solenoid, and the 4 gauge wires and connected the old stock motor again. It now sets you back in the seat when pulling out and has so much more power on the straight and up hills. My F and R switch is backwards now though. I have to push reverse to go forward etc. And I have a volt meter that does not show the charge status now. When backing up, the pedal is so sensitive, it is hard to back up without laying rubber. Thanks Phil |

That fixed the problem, and I had a wire off for the voltmeter. So right now all seems fine. Thanks to all that helped Phil Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
