Club car
Ok I have a 1987 club car it has the 5 selnoids and resister springs. Batteries are fully charged. I changed the relays since the previous owner used automotive ones so I put club car one 36v. When I press the pedal slowly I don't get 36v Sr the first selonoid but as a push to engage the next limit I will get 36v. Well even pushing the pedal down I get 36v on all other ones but cart done move or try to move. Can some explain the path of voltage on this car. Trying to see if I am missing something. Also is there a way to check if motor is bad?

Re: Club car help
motor test
WARNING you don't want to make a big spark anywhere near the battery. note : use 2 wrenches on motor studs to keep them from spinning |

Re: Club car help
Ok thanks for this info. Jumping the first solenoid the motor would turn over with tires off the ground would that tell u motor is bad? It's difficult to see the wires locations on the f&r switch to make sure they are on correct post do you have pic of it with wires location?

Re: Club car help
I'm not getting spin when I jumped the solenoid. Sorry for the mis wording. So to make it clear do I jump the main solenoid? That's what did?

Re: Club car help
Ok man I jumped the main one and wife pressed pedal all the way down and motor did spin but when it did the yellow wire the daisy chains from f&r micro melted insulation and the blue wire from key switch to same micro switch started melting.
