Default Lots of corrosion

I'm getting a lot of corrosion on the battery lock downs as well as some of the terminals. How do I prevent this? I've sprayed them after cleaning multiple times.

Clean them off use a preventive and when charging prop up you seat to vent the gases

I've been using the Yamaha brand spray but it has been uneffective. I was thinking of going back to wheel bearing grease like we did on the tractors in the old days.

I use SP-400 by CRC. Seals it up tight.

x2 leave the seat compartment open, it does not make a huge difference but might help. Also, like you said you can use a paste type corrosion inhibitor instead of spray. but generally speaking if you wash down the battery tops occasionally and respray you should not get much corrosion

Strange, I'm not getting any corrosion. Put it together in January and have put nothing [yet] on the connections. The copper terminals have darkened, [as copper tends to do naturally] but nothing else. And NO,,, my cart doesn't get washed every Sunday before going to church. Probably rinsed the dirt off the pack 3 or 4 times since new.

yeah, typically if you rinse the battery tops off somewhat regularly you won't have corrosion issues. your batteries must not be splashing too much either
