Agreed, I just listen and learn..... (He never said, but I have to assume he was in the Engineering & Development Dept at the little place located in Agusta, Ga. )

actually used for Dynamic Brake
AND - if you unhook that coil, then pedal up will brake so severely that your nose will touch the windshield. The coil can come out if you unplug the motor speed sensor, though.

Crash - your diagram shows the old style (circa '96) Potentiometer - but his photos show his cart has the pie shaped (Multi-step) potentiometer.

In any case your diagram is 99% correct - because it shows that he has no tow/run switch (which is correct for that model)

Thanks to all for the info !!

I hope NoleFan doesn't see my Gator hat !! (I grew up in Jacksonville.)

I'm going to do a little wire tracking just to verify before I "throw the amps" to it !!

If I can get this one going, I have some plans for it !! Pics will come soon !!

Again, a sincere Thanks to all, and BTW.... it really is an addiction !!!

If that cart is mechanically sound then its a huge candidate for an IQ wiring harness change out (and a few updates to throttle etc) and one of those highly sought after XCT controllers, since the acquisition cost of the cart was so affordable.

Happy to report....

IT"S ALIVE !!!!!

Thanks CTD for the schematic, it helped me find a severely corroded connector at the main solenoid.

Jumper cables from my wife's buggy (don't tell her) and I have wheels spinning (both directions), back up alarm, lights, brakes (broken pedal return spring) !!!

Again, a big THANKS to all for the help !

As soon as it quits raining, I'll get some pics... 'cause I know how we love pics !!!
