front leaf spring interchange
Good day to all. I have a 2001 carryall 2 with a broken front leaf spring. The replacement part number is 1012030. I have a leaf out of a DS/Precedent. The number is 103628701. Are they interchangeable? I would take measurements but the carryall delta A plate is bent excessively and I don't want to take the chance of stranding it on my lift. Thanks for helping.

Re: front leaf spring interchange
Yes they are interchangeable, the difference is the number of leafs.
The 030 is a heavy duty 2 leaf spring, while the 701 is a standard duty single leaf spring. They are interchangeable. The 701 will work on your buggie , unless you're hauling a moose or a couple of yards of concrete on a front basket. |

Re: front leaf spring interchange
Thanks Muddog and zhhb84. I will have to check on the shop the cart is assigned to. If they don't haul stuff, the spring goes in. Have a great day.
