Default 2007 PDS Help

I have a 2007 PDS cart that when you drive at lower speeds it cuts out. You can be going along then it seems to loose all power. When you press the pedal it tries to go but just creeps. I have replaced the solenoid and positive cable to the solenoid. The controller is not showing any fault codes. Last time it did this I checked the batteries and had 37 volts. When this happens you can let it sit for a few minutes and its good again. Today I drove the cart for about 40 minutes at half throttle through high grass(8-10'') after I checked the batteries and all connections I felt the motor. It was pretty hot, not too hot to touch but you couldnt keep your hand on it. Any suggestions would be great!

I forgot to mention the cart is lifted with 22" tires. As far as the thermal shut down what can I do to fix this? it is currently running program 1, can I change the program or add one of the optional plugs???

If it had the stock controller it is probably on its way out. Time for an upgrade..

They tend to go into the shut down more frequently and for longer cooling off periods as time passes. Eventually they just turn off. Stock controls cant handle big tires and bigger loads like tall grass

You not only go to a control with a larger flow capacity but heavier duty internal components as found in the Alltrax controls. It fixes the problem.

Remember to view the amperage delivery system as a whole. IF you increase amperage flow (Controller) you need to increase supply (Solenoid) and general delivery of amperage to the motor (cables)
