David, your 1990 model is not DCS and the troubleshooting guide will not apply to your cart. Do the motor test I posted for you in the other thread.

sorry i posted this one before the other one but yes i will do the test you posted on the other thread and if you dont mind me asking what is mine it has a black box i thought that was the dcs my bad but i will learn very quickly lol

The "black box" is a DC motor controller aka electronic speed controller.

Hi I have a 96 Txt, when you hit the gas pedal, I can hear a click. could this be the controller, should I run the diag on this. If so could you send it out to me @ Glycer@rochester.rr.com

Glycerin, you have a series cart. The DCS troubleshooting guide will not assist you. Here is the thread you lost:
