Default Parts and accessories old cart

I am looking to put on a few parts and accessories on the cart I just purchased. It is a 1981 E Z GO Marathon. I have looked through the sponsors web sites and most don't go back that far.

Anyone have ideas, I am itching to buy some stuff for this.

Thanks for your help.

What type of things are you looking for? Maybe start there and we can start to help. I don't have one of that vintage, but find stuff all the time.

I found this place the other day.

http://www.vintagegolfcartparts.com/...g=cat&ref=ezgo

They have an online catalog and a downloadable one in PDF format.

The only thing they have that I want right now is replacement seat covers. They don't have any dash accessories or scorecard clips for the steering wheel that I'm looking for. Maybe they'll have what you need.

I would like to put a dash kit, lift tires, a rear seat. I have found a lift looks like there is only one option for it. Haven't seen a dash kit or rear seat to fit that model. Just some make it look good accessories.

That vintage golfcart parts.com has some rubber molding and stuff that will be good after I paint.

Thanks

unfortunately, back when those carts were considered "modern" there weren't many accessories made for them, now that they are out of the mainstream and newer models are available, manufacturers don't make the "fancy" accessories for them.

Yes,

With the Marathons, there isn't much aftermarket out there. BUT if your handy, you can make alot of things for this cart. I've done the flip/flop backseat, sport windshield, and brush guard.

Heres the link to my build with all kinds of pictures. I attached the front to the uprights of the front seat backs. Then in the back, I have legs into the bagwell and mounted footrest and seat together. Footrest is mounted to rear bumper (if that's what we want to call it). Nothing is attached to the body.
